I began my journey as a therapist in 2020 and qualified in 2024. My commitment to offering thoughtful, effective therapy starts with my own ongoing development, which is why I engage in regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This allows my practice to remain current, reflective, and responsive to the diverse experiences clients bring into the room.
Before qualifying as a therapist, I worked across a range of healthcare and support settings, including the NHS, private care, elderly care, and charitable organisations. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Public Health. Alongside this, I am a Dementia Friend, a role that centres on understanding dementia from the perspective of those living with it and translating that understanding into compassionate, informed support.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational. I work alongside my clients to create a safe, supportive space where thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour can be explored at a pace that feels right for you. I practise integratively and holistically, drawing on evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, art therapy, somatic techniques, and psychological theory.
I work with adults, couples, young people, and children, and have particular experience supporting clients with childhood trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and periods of transition or change.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in line with their ethical framework and professional standards. At the heart of my work is a belief that therapy should feel human, compassionate, and collaborative - a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.
